Your Lie in April - Feels trip animé that will surely melt your heart.
This series has already ended back in March 2015. Although I didn't watch this series back then, I don't regret it, why? Because if I did, I'd be so frustrated and anxious waiting for the next episode every week. I got a copy of the whole series and did a marathon on it. It was one hell of a ride.

Somehow though, it did not make me cry in the last episode. Although I have to admit it was a very emotional ride. I guess the reason why I didn't cry was because at the first few episodes (even at episode 1) they were already crying. There was A LOT of crying. So much crying that the emotional effect of the act just faded with each passing episode that someone cried. The only part where I did cry was on Episode 14, where Kousei and Tsubaki were both at the beach and Kousei told Tsubaki that he was leaving home to study far away.
THIS. This part really ripped my heart apart. Maybe because I like Tsubaki's character? Maybe because I feel what Tsubaki feels? Maybe because the song playing in the background was very heart-felt and emotional? (Yeah maybe it's the music in the background) But really, I felt like my heart was being torn apart and tears just won't stop pouring down my cheek. Even now when I watch that episode it just pierces my heart.
This animé has quenched my thirst for a dramatic series since this season mostly has action/comedy/ecchi series (although ecchi is always there, always). The last time I felt this kind of emotion was when I watched AnoHana or Kyoukai no Kanata.

It was a roller-coaster ride between the four characters and their relationships. This is not your average Romance-Comedy type of romance and I'm surprised that even 14 year olds are already this mature about love, it's as close to being animés like Sukitte Ii na Yo (Say "I Love You") and other mature romance out there (except for the kissing and whatnot), but hey, it's animé, what do we expect?
I like piano music and violin too, and I think classical music really brings out the sincerity and emotion within us. Your Lie in April is an animé you should definitely watch, feels aside, the plot is not very unique but it is very emotional plus the classical music really emphasizes that. The story revolves around Arima Kousei, a piano prodigy at a very young age, who lost his mother (also his instructor) due to an illness and thus rendering him unable to hear the sound of his piano even though his hearing was fine. One day he met Miyazono Kaori, a free-spirited violinist who helped Kousei play the piano again and unbind him from the curse that once hindered him from even touching a piano.
