I already can't wait for the 2nd Season! T^T
Ah, where do I begin? KonoSuba has been an important daily dose of laughter for me and with just 10 episodes in total, it has left me feeling sad and incomplete. :(
Before the Winter 2016 season started, KonoSuba wasn't really on my watchlist as I've just added it when I saw a post about it on social media that I found very funny. I surely didn't regret putting it on my watchlist though, as it became one of my favorite titles this season. Read on for more info!

The story revolves around Satou Kazuma, a shut-in NEET (described by Aqua, which is basically true) who, in the beginning of the series, died after trying to save a girl from a very slow moving tractor. Although he did not die from getting hit by the tractor, instead he died from "shock". (very funny way to die if you ask me)
He then wakes up in the "afterlife" greeted by a goddess named Aqua. She offers Kazuma two choices, to go up to heaven or go to a fantasy parallel world where he would need to defeat the Demon King. Kazuma chooses the latter and Aqua tells him that he could bring any one thing to this parallel world, and he chooses Aqua herself. This is where Kazuma and Aqua's adventure begin.
In the first few episodes, I find it very interesting for this MMO-based fantasy to show how our protagonists struggle in their day-to-day normal lives without slaying monsters or doing dangerous quests (as most MMO-based titles have done) and I didn't actually mind that because I knew from the start that this WAS a comedy. XD
Along the way, Kazuma and Aqua finds (or recruits) Megumin, an arch wizard with a funny name who only knows one spell, and Darkness, a crusader who always misses her target and is a total masochist. With all four of them, they form the most comedical party in MMO-based anime history.
Every episode that I've watched was full of excitement, sarcasm, and obviously full of laughs. This series reminded me of Senyuu although it was only a short series that had 4 minutes of air time per episode with just 13 episodes.
Even though KonoSuba ended with only 10 episodes, it was enough to satisfy my craving for this kind of anime, it was hilarious, exciting, and overall, a very good series to watch. (or re-watch!) I gave this title a 10/10 rating on MyAnimeList simply because it deserves to get that rating! XD
I also have a playlist of KonoSuba clips on my Vimeo channel. You can find those on the "Videos" tab of the site (above) or go watch it directly on Vimeo! :D
P.S. Season 2 is confirmed so I'd suggest you watch this one now (if you still haven't) so we can all watch S2 together! :D
