Have you ever wanted to make your own RPG game? (wait, that was redundant since RPG stands for Role-Playing Game), okay let's do this again....
Have you ever wanted to make your own Role-Playing Game? (that sounds better) Well, me too! And what better way to make one is to have this amazing software called RPG Maker VX Ace! I actually had this I think 5 months ago and I already finished making one game. It was nothing special though, it was just a simple walk-inside-a-dungeon-and-get-out type of game, but it was still fun making that. XD (dunno if I'll put a download link for that, if I'm not lazy enough to upload it -_-) But the real reason why I posted about this is because I suddenly had the inspiration to finish (or at least continue) my 2nd game that I'm making.

This 2nd one will be something like an investigative type of game. The player is a detective in which he/she would have to look for "reports" and complete them by searching for clues as to who (or what) the suspect is for that certain "report", typically there will be murder reports, kidnapping, and all sorts of other criminal activities. The fun part here is that the player has the ability to lie or not tell the truth to a key NPC in the main storyline which will then trigger different kinds of conclusions to the story. For example, if the player finds the dead body of NPC1 but decides not to tell NPC2 what happened, then that action would lead to a different conclusion compared to if the player decided to tell NPC2 the truth. (sounds fun, eh?) But not for me! Because I have to like, compile all these different stories one-by-one and like, PROCRASTINATION. XD Anyway, here's some screenshots of the game I'm currently making called Tegakari (working title).
Also, if you're gonna make your own RPG then you should also make your own Characters! Even though RPG Maker VX Ace has its own default characters loaded into the software itself it would be better if you made your own instead, right? This is where Game Character Hub comes in! It's a software which you could make, and export your characters so you can use them in RPG Maker VX Ace. (I feel like I'm an endorser of these softwares but I'm not. -_-) Anyway, here's a screenshot of one of the characters I made for my game, her name is Shiori. :)
Welp, that's about it! I'll post an update about this maybe IN A YEAR, lol jk. But when things go smoothly as planned then we'll see if I'll upload it in the interwebs and have you guys play it. XD
